|Recommended: YesPalmsOn2nd WorkInProgress — The new management is working diligently to improve living conditions at Palms on 2nd, which it assumed in late 2025. The complex does have some physical and maintenance issues that are being addressed, and has significantly improved security with controlled-entry fencing. Both free and secure, paid, paved parking are available. The staff is friendly and helpful. Some difficulty with unhoused indigents about the complex, a perrenial issue in the neighborhood, has been significantly reduced in the complex, and security patrols are periodically conducted. Apartment renovation is in progress, so construction, associated noise including neighborhood traffic and refuse are inevitable, but it is usually not excessive. The flora here is well maintained, but grounds cleanliness could use some improvement, much of this attributable to transients and select residents, plus homeowners in the area who bring their pets to eliminate on the property. All-in-all, the livability of the complex has improved substantially and improvements are on-going. This complex is suitable for housing beginning apartment dwellers, small families, active duty military, veterans and retirees.
|Recommended: YesPalms on 2nd is awesome — Since moving here everyone has been so kind and wonderful to us. The new staff here are just great I always enjoy talking with them. The place has made a huge turn for the better with how much they watch out for us and take not just our safety but quality of living in hand.
